Wolf Sanctuary

1639 Spring Valley Road
970-416-9531

History:

W.O.L.F. - Wolves Offered Life & Friendship or Wolf, was established in order to "Improve The Quality of Life for All Wolves and Wolf-Dogs."

W.O.L.F. came into being after circumstance, fate, and love led the founders to this calling. Frank and Patricia Wendland were peripherally involved with an individual who maintained three very beautiful, wolf-dogs. The intelligence and depth of spirit of these creatures was reflected in their eyes.

Mission:

Building respect and compassion for life. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of all wolves and wolf-dogs by rescuing animals in need and providing them with a permanent home at our natural habitat facility where we to take into account their physical and emotional well-being. We also strive to educate the public about wild and captive wolves and the problems with keeping wolves as pets.
