Thresher Fields Park Off-Leash Dog Area

3220 Borchert Lane

The park features trails, rolling hills, and open spaces in a "rugged" natural setting. The entire area is fenced including the lake shore with a gated access to the lake. Varied terrain and wooded areas mean that owners wishing to maintain visual contact with their dogs must be able to hike and follow their pets down a steep hill and into the woods. A designated, fenced area is available for small dogs. The park is open year round consistent with park hours and park rules. Water and restrooms are available on a seasonal basis. An annual color coded collar provided with a copy of the permit, are required to enter the park area. The minimal permit fees help cover the operational costs of the park.
