Santa Barbara Skater's Point

This 14,600 square foot permanent skateboard park on the waterfront at the intersection of Cabrillo Boulevard and Garden Street is open to skateboarders, in-line skaters and roller skaters of all ages. Based on ideas generated from local skaters and refined by a professional design team and City staff, this skateboard park has been popular since its opening in August 2000.The facility features a Grand Slam Pyramid, Taco Bowl, fun box with ledges, banks, grind curbs and launch ramp, a half pipe, hubba ledges, flat and transition ramps and grind rails. Younger and less experienced skaters are encouraged to skate on weekends before noon. Helmets, elbow and kneepads are required for all users.
