Philomath City Park

231 South 23rd Street

City Park is the oldest park in the community. The 10½ acre park with Newton Creek running through it includes many amenities and is the frequent site for community events.

Picnic Facilities:
City Park includes two group picnic areas that can be reserved, one with a covered shelter (see Park Reservations). These two facilities have water and electricity available. There are additional picnic tables spread around the park perimeter that are available on an "as occupied" basis.

Amenities:
There is a baseball field for local youth games and a skatepark designed for beginning skaters to sharpen their skills. This park also has 2 large playground areas, horseshoe pits and a fitness area.
