.4 mile looped trail, trailhead located atop sandstone steps along secondary bluffline overlooking the beach, bear right after passing wooden shelter and move upstream into deeper woodlands, oak-hickory forest gives way to mixed hardwood forest, crests at ridgetop and quickly descends to intersect Lake Trail at another remote wooden shelter, bear right to return to beach/boat dock area and trailhead, rated moderately strenuous.
