Pelican Bay Beach

8497 Bay Colony Drive

Pelican Bay beaches are the community's finest amenity. These wonderful stretches of white sand border our entire western boundary for almost three miles. Beach attendants keep the beaches well-maintained and gladly set up lounge chairs, cabanas, and umbrellas from 9am to Sunset. Before you go to the beach, have a look at the Pelican Bay beach conditions by viewing the north beach and south beach web cameras.

The South Beach provides sailing boats and sea-kayaks and at the North Beach we provide sea-kayaks, available for Members and Guest enjoyment. The only form of motorized transport to the beaches is exclusively provided by the Pelican Bay Tram System. Another option is by a leisurely stroll down the boardwalk winding through the mangroves. Our interactive map indicates where each tram stations is located for your convenience. Your Foundation issued Membership identification card is required to board a tram, patronize the restaurants, request beach equipment, sail, or kayak. There is volleyball at the south beach for those of you looking to play a game or two. Many enjoy walking on the beach, sunsets, shelling and fishing.
