About

The Merrill Area Recreation Complex covers 96 acres. It has four youth softball fields, youth and adult soccer fields, an outdoor ice-skating rink and a 2.5 mile walking, biking, cross country ski and snowshoe trail that links to Council Grounds State Park. There is also playground equipment on site for children. The recreation complex is also home of the Smith Multi-Purpose Center and houses an indoor skating rink/large rental space available for larger functions, a multi-purpose community room, and refreshment stand. Indoor walking around the rink is also offered.
