The LGE Youthmarket is one facet of GrowNYC's Learn It Grow It Eat It program, which is aimed at improving the health of young people through nutrition education and improved food access in their schools and community. In addition to offering fresh produce from Wholesale Greenmarket and Red Jacket Orchards to the community, LGE interns also perform cooking demonstrations and conduct educational activities at the Youthmarket's Nutrition Education table. One of the longest running Youthmarkets, the LGE Youthmarket is now in its fourth season.
