Horseshoe Bend

A great way to see Horseshoe Bend and the surrounding area is by air. You will fly over Horseshoe Bend, a hairpin turn in the Colorado River through one of the last intact sections of Glen Canyon. Turning North, you will see Glen Canyon Dam and its steel arch bridge. As you glide pass the massive rock formations, you also travel through places in history such as the Crossing of the Fathers.
