Since 1981, the Green River Cattish Festival has been a staple (or Butter and surrounding county residents. Happening around the 4th of July holiday, the annual Catfish Festival offers up a variety of entertainment options from exciting carnival rides, old-fashioned games, delicious foods, unique vendors, road race, state-qualifying beauty pageants, livestock, and 4-H shows, captivating art displays, classic car & tractor shows, nightly concert series, canoeing & kayaking, terrapin race, corn hole, fishing tournament with thousands of dollars in cash prizes and so much more!
