About Us
Grandview Farm, originally built by Quaker Gideon Smith in 1847, was owned as a summer home and farm for the Smith family for two generations. The farm then was bought by the Heberle's who planted fruit trees and ran Heberle's Nursery. It was purchased by Paul and Susan Maier who ran Maiers Mud Acres till 2008.
Current owners, David Schinsing and Susan Taylor changed the name of the farm back to its original name, Grandview Farm and operate a small family farm where they raise a few crops, some animals and their children, Leah and Anna Mae.
