Goosenecks State Park

Gaze at the results of 300 million years of time, where the San Juan River winds and carves its way through the desert 1,000 feet below. This primitive park offers a spectacular view of this amazing and rare geologic formation, known as an entrenched meander.

Park fees: $5.00 per car per day. $10.00 per night per campsite. If no ranger on duty pay at fee tube using self serve envelopes.

Camping is in 8 designated sites along rim, where fire-ring and picnic tables are located. First come, first served. No reservations.

Conditions are primitive, bring your own fire wood and water. No services except vault toilets.
