Freedom Barks Inc.

In Medford Township, right off of Main Street, is a dog park unlike any other in the state.  It is called Freedom Barks and is located within Freedom Park.  The park was originally set up under the Green Acres program.  Medford Township officials saw a great opportunity and created Freedom Barks dog park within the boundries of Freedom Park.

Freedom Barks, Inc.  of Medford, NJ was organized to assist the Township in maintaining the park.  We are a New Jersey non-profit corporation.  Our mission statement is to provide a safe and clean natural area for dogs and dog owners to enjoy.  We are funded by donations and special fund raising events.

Freedom Barks, Inc.  works closely with the township and they have been extremely supportive of our actions.  Local Boy Scout troop 20 has done a great job in helping us to improve the park.  They have designed and built several bridges and are working with us to make more improvements.  If you visit the park regularly, you have probably seen our volunteers painting, repairing equipment and dragging trash cans out to the parking lot.
