Forest Hills United Methodist Church Farmers Market

1250 Old Hickory Boulevard
615-373-3131

About Us:

The Forest Hills UMC Farmers Market opened in June of 2010 to serve the Brentwood Community by providing local fresh produce. Celebrating its third season, it is quickly becoming the place to be on Saturday mornings from 8:00 am to Noon.

The Market supports local farmers and vendors by providing an excellent venue for them to gather during the Spring and Fall, while providing fresh seasonal produce to the Brentwood Community.  The market has quickly become the gathering place for neighbors and friends interested in living and eating well.

As in past years, there is no charge for the growers to participate; instead they have been asked to donate portions of their fresh produce each week to Feed America First, a local hunger relief organization serving Middle Tennessee.

An outreach of Forest Hills United Methodist Church the market runs solely on volunteer manpower. Volunteers are on hand to assist farmers in setting up their booth and breaking down after each market. As well as managing traffic flow in and out, providing assistance to shoppers, which include water, restrooms and just good ol' fashion conversation. Volunteers are not limited to church members, anyone can get involved.
