De Pere Dog Park

Mission:

The goal of the De Pere Dog Park Association is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for dogs and their owners to exercise, socialize and play at the De Pere Dog Park located 1400 Biotech Way in De Pere, WI.

The De Pere Dog Park Association is a committee of volunteer citizens who facilitate the operation and maintenance of a modern dog park in  the City of De Pere in partnership with the City of De Pere.

Hours: Sunrise to Sunset

Rules:

The off-leash dog area is for dogs, their handlers and those accompanying them. Other general park uses like walking and hiking without a dog are also allowed.

Dogs must be properly inoculated and healthy, free of contagious conditions, diseases and parasites.

Puppies under 4 months of age are not allowed to use the facility.

Owners are only allowed to bring up to 2 dogs into the park at a time.

Females in HEAT are prohibited.

Dogs must wear rabies and registration tags on collar.

Dogs must be on a leash (6 ft. or less) while entering and exiting the fence area.

Owners must remove any pinch prong or spiked collars before entering.

Owners must be within visual sight and voice control of the dogs at all times.

Owners must have possession of a dog leash at all times.

Handlers must be 16 years of age or older.

Children under 12 years of age must be under strict adult supervision-no running, no chasing or petting dogs without owner's permission.

Strollers, bicycles, chairs, etc. are not allowed in the off-leash area. Wheelchairs are allowed.

All dog waste must be disposed of properly in onsite refuse containers.

Professional dog trainers are not permitted to use this facility to conduct business.

Persistent barking is discouraged and will not be allowed.

Digging is not allowed. Owner is responsible for filling holes as needed.

Smoking is prohibited in dog park ares.

Aggressive dogs are not permitted. If aggression occurs, the dog must leave the park.

Rawhides, treats, food (dog or human) and glass bottles are not permitted in the park.

Park Closure: The City of De Pere reserves the right to close the park temporarily or permanently for reasons to include, but not limited to: repairs, weather, facility conditions and/or abuse of rules.
