Craig Lake State Park

Craig Lake is a wilderness area that spans over 6,900 acres in Baraga County. The park contains six full lakes with muskellunge, bass, walleye, and northern pike, plus a variety of wildlife including a portion of the UP moose herd. This park offers some of the most rugged trails in Michigan for hiking. Snowmobiles are allowed with 4" of snow or more on the ground. Cross-country skiing is allowed, however, the trails are not groomed. There are two cabins for rent and one yurt just a two mile hike from the parking area. Metal Detecting Area.
