About

As you drive along the winding roads of St. Joseph County, east of the shores of Lake Michigan and just north of the Indiana border, you will gaze upon some of the finest orchards and vineyards in Michigan. In this rolling countryside full of lakes, rivers, and beautiful woods, you will find Corey Lake Orchards, a lush green "Garden of Eden."

Founded in 1962 by the late Dayton and Allene Hubbard, Corey Lake Orchards has become a tradition for those customers desiring the freshest fruits and vegetables available at their peak taste. We offer the best of what Michigan has to offer spring, summer and fall, in the middle of a breathtaking natural landscape.

The Roadside Market opens in May with asparagus and greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers . Strawberries are right around the corner, followed by sweet and tart cherries. The latter part of June also brings flavorful green beans, field-fresh cucumbers, summer squash and peppers. By mid-July, you'll find fresh picked sweet corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, blueberries, peaches, summer apples, field-ripened tomatoes, new potatoes and the largest sweet Spanish onions you've ever seen. As fall approaches, the farm bears apples, grapes, pears, squash and other fall ornamentals. As much as possible, we offer U-pick options to allow you to pick directly from the tree or vines.

Quality counts at Corey Lake Orchards. We grow what we sell and pick it daily - often several times a day! - to ensure freshness and taste. Our friendly farm family will be glad to assist you and answer any questions you or your family might have about harvest, preparation, use and varieties.

Corey Lake Orchards welcomes you to visit our "Garden of Eden" and enjoy the small pleasures of a farm experience, from orchards in blossom, to bountiful tomatoes on plants to sitting under our favorite shade tree or letting your children swing on the old fashioned swing and giant slide.
