About Us:

C&E Farm, LLC is owned and operated by Cornelius and Emma Dudley.

C & E Farm was established in 1995 as a produce farm. In 1996 we began to offer "Pick Your Own" greens and firewood for sale to the public. We broadened our crop selection each succeeding year, including some ethnic varieties, herbs, and cut flowers. All produce has been grown without the use of synthetic chemicals.

In the Fall of 2000 a Cub Scout group toured the farm, and in the spring of 2001 they engaged in a project growing potatoes. The experience proved very enlightening for the young people as well as their parents. As a result, we decided to expand our involvement with children in order to get more of them exposed to the growth and development of produce.

We believe that God has given us plants to cultivate for our consumption and enjoyment, and it is our mission to grow quality produce free of harmful chemicals, and to offer these for sale, mostly on a Pick-Your-Own basis. We also aim to provide activities that are enjoyable and educational in a farm setting. The highlight of our year is the Harvest Fest that is held during the month of October. During this time we offer the Pumpkin Patch experience which is ideal for Nursery and young Elementary children.

The setting of the farm is somewhat of an oasis. We are located between a former hospital and an abandoned government farm. Most people who visit the farm are pleasantly surprised to see a working farm surrounded by undeveloped land so close to the Beltway. Many just love to take in the scenery or have a nature walk.

C and E Farm is a family run business and all personnel enjoy interacting with people and are very friendly and eager to serve. People who like the personal attention that we give often return year after year and bring others.
