About 15 years ago, Allen Sprunger started planting a few apple trees as a hobby. Each year he added more trees and now, the orchard located in Saginaw,
Michigan, has over 500 trees and more than 30 varieties.
Operating from late August through early November, in addition to selling apples, we sell honey, caramel apples, donuts, and cider.
Cider production involves using washed, hand-picked apples, pressed in a state-of-the-art cider press, filtered and bottled at our Davis Road orchard. Also, combining certain varieties gives a nicely balanced mix of sweet and tart flavors. Each batch throughout the season is a little different than the other.
