It’s time to hit the waters for a day of adrenaline-charged excitement. From the wide bodies of water to the narrow fingers of the lake, jet skiers can explore and enjoy the summer racing across the lakes or searching out a perfect fishing spot in Kansas. Here are five exhilarating jet skiing spots in Kansas.

1. Hillsdale Lake

Bring your own jet ski or rent one at Hillsdale Lake, one of the most thrilling spots for watersport fun. This lake has over 4,500 acres of lake to power up and enjoy the water. Keep an eye out for the nearby wildlife!

2. Wilson Lake

Wilson Lake, north of the city of Wilson, is known to be the clearest lake in Kansas. The long wide body of this lake offers excellent jet skiing or other watercraft sports, for all levels of experience.

3. El Dorado Lake

El Dorado Lake offers jet skiers over 8,000 acres of water. Parts of the lake are large enough to accommodate many types of watercraft and other parts are narrower and provide calmer waters.

4. Lake Perry

Lake Perry near Topeka is an 11,000-acre lake which offers plenty of open water and inlets to give jet skiers the ideal space. This large lake has plenty of room for all sizes of watercrafts.

5. Waconda Lake

Waconda Lake near Cawker City is known for its “picturesque” setting. Smooth waters provide jet skiers an excellent space to fly across the surface, and there are still plenty of other areas of the lake to hit some waves.
